The Randolph Boys Track team defeats league opponent Norwell, in their final regular season meet, at the Reggie Lewis Center. Randolph defeated the clippers by a score of 66 to 26.
Leading the way for the Blue Devils was Junior Jarron Hill, who took first place in both the High Jump and the Long Jump. Jarron has moved into the top ten of the league in High Jump, clearing 5′ 3″.
Senior Synsmyr Forgue also had a strong performance, moving into the top four in the league in the 600 meter with a time of 1:32.92. Synsmyr also first placed in the 55 hurdles.
The distance team had a strong performance in the 1000 meter, with Junior Robert Duarte, and Izhak Adam and freshman Shaquan Rush sweeping the event. Robert also took 2nd in the two mile.
Bryan Figueroa had another stellar performance, taking 3rd in both the 55m and 300m as Sophomore James Jamison continues to make his mare in the shot put circle, edging a throw near 40 feet, landing at 39′ 11″.
The Blue Devils finish second in the South Shore League regular season, and will look to make their mark at the league championships on Thursday, January 31st. .
