Randolph dropped a hotly contested SSL game for 1st place on Friday night to the Bulldogs in agonizing but all to familiar fashion. Both teams battled all night long but the home team prevailed by making the plays that counted in the 4th quarter. Randolph’s leading scorers were Fabrice Salvant (19 points), Jamarii Robinson (14 points, 6 rebounds) and Derrick Revolus (9 points). Jekhi Sherrod continued his solid play in the second half of the season with 8 points and 12 rebounds. Rockland was led by the stellar play of SSL stalwart Derek Williams’ 25 points and 12 points. Pierre Comeau continued his consistent scoring with 17 points of his own. Randolph can clinch second place and an 11-2 record in the league with a victory against visiting Norwell on Senior Night Friday.
