With school closures and recent test cancellations, we know many students and families have questions about their next steps for test prep and college admission during an uncertain year.
The MIAA has partnered with Livius Tutoring to bring students an incredible opportunity for free test prep and college admission support programs as part of their Foundations series.
The first opportunity, College Essay Prep Foundations for high-school seniors, begins 9/3 — so don’t wait to register.
In this popular program, 12th-grade students are guided through the development, drafting, and review of their Common App essay.
In this 3-week virtual class, students will:
Brainstorm and select an appropriate essay topic
Outline an effective structure
Learn how to enhance their writing
Avoid the most common mistakes made by applicants
Complete a powerful first essay draft
Review their essay and discuss other application and admission questions in a one-on-one session with a Livius Advisor
This program is completely free and open to students at all MIAA-affiliated schools.
For 10th-11th graders looking for SAT & ACT test prep, we encourage you to take a look at the free Livius Foundations program beginning in September.
