The RPS Athletic Department will hold it’s annual Fall Sports Orientation Wednesday, August 26, 5:30-7 PM, Randolph High School Auditorium. Parents and student-athletes will learn more about the registration and impact test process. Breakout sessions with the head coaches of each fall sport will follow the meeting.
Come meet former New England Patriots All-Pro Running Back Tony Collins who has a story to tell student-athletes, parents and coaches!
Collins travels the country speaking with groups about his experiences. He also talks with student-athletes regarding making it to the next level and some of the dangers in a social media world.
Collins, who gained 4,647 yards in seven seasons for the Pats, wrote, “Broken Road: Turning My Mess into a Message” chronicling his roller-coaster life in which he experienced the highs of playing in the NFL and the lows of paying for his “bad choices” that derailed his career and nearly took his life. Copies of his book will be available for purchase at the event.
AT LEAST ONE PARENT OR GUARDIAN MUST ACCOMPANY YOUR CHILD OR CHILDREN DURING THE PROGRAM.
