Game Recap

On Wednesday, 5/4, the Randolph High School Boys Volleyball team played a match at Malden High School. Randolph defeated Malden by a score of 3-0. The scores of the sets were:25-20, 25-12, and 25-16. With the win the Blue Devils will qualify for the MIAA State Tournament for the second straight season. “We want to have a match at home therefore, we are trying to win as many matches as possible. We cannot be satisfied with just qualifying this year”.
For Randolph, Senior MH Anthony Fernandes had 10 kills. Sophomore Libero Johann Mateo had 11 on target serve receive passes. Senior Co.Capt. Derrick Tham had 13 service points and Senior Opposite Hitter Eric Nighorn had 11 service points. Junior Opposite Hitter Adim Monteiro contributed 8 service points.
The next match for the Blue Devils is on Friday, 5/6 at home versus Milford High School. Team record is now 8 wins and 2 losses.
