Malcolm R Hill, of Holbrook, formerly of Quincy, passed away peacefully, August 2, 2015 surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 84, after an extended period of failing health. Born and raised in Quincy, he graduated from Quincy High School. He then went on to graduate from Northeastern University and later Boston State, where he received his Master’s Degree in Education. Malcolm proudly served his country in the Navy during the Korean War where he was a member of the “Chosin Few”.

Soon after, Malcom began a 30 year career as a school teacher, first in New York and then retiring after 25 years as a Social Studies teacher at Randolph High School. An avid runner who ran several marathons, made him the perfect choice as the coach for the Randolph High School track team, cross country team and his induction into the Randolph Athletics Hall of Fame in 1991.
